Lovely room. I was staying for 1 night for work nearby. Staff accommodated my late check in and early check out. I was in room 8 and it lovely and clean, quiet and possibly one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in during the last 12 months on tour.Great value and priced well.

We stayed for 2 nights we had a lovely warm welcome from both Sam and Dave and their hospitality was very professional Our room was very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Bathroom was very clean although a little small but had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was very comfy, loved the crisp sheets and the feather Duvetthank you

I don’t normally do reviews!!!So accommodating I notified parklane that I was going to be slightly early ,,,,,, they allowed me to book in 2 hours earlier which was great.The room had a smart tv i. Could watch Netflix home from home .En-suite room tea and coffee facilities in the rooms and free parking was such a good price thank you.

5/5Centrally located, about 10 mins from the station. Very comfortable room and pleasent staff.Free parking free Wi-Fi Only minor negative is I found the pillows too low although the bed was very comfortable.

They were very welcoming, very clear with the rules and where everything is in the guest house.And were able to give information on taxi numbers and bus stops and times.They also helped with directions and where things were near the city centre. The room was small, but I had everything needed. I had a single on suite. It was also clean and warm. I was there one night, so only a small single was perfect. Again, thank you 😊

Large room very clean double and single bed hot and powerful shower good sized bathroom plenty of tea and coffee great staff do not be put of because its not expensive it offers great value for money

It was really good for my first time in Cardiff, bed was comfy, the lady (didn’t catch her name) was very welcoming. Only problem I had was the shower kept going from hot to cold, but that was probably me not using it properly. I will be returning to Cardiff soon and this is the place I will be coming back to. Thank you.

Lovely clean, comfortable stay. Compact room but sufficient for 1 person. Thank you for drinks in the room. My only slight niggle is that the bathroom fan stayed on permanently!

The room had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable. The guesthouse is within walking distance of Cardiff city Centre

Compact nicely decorated and clean room with en-suite and very comfy beds. Would benefit from shelving in bathroom for toiletries and in shower, plus rail and hooks for towels. Needed a hand towel. Hairdryer was supplied on requesting.There’s not enough room for a bedside table, but small shelf would be helpful and light over bed for getting up during the night. No wardrobe but wall hooks hanging available which was ok, but there’s enough space to add another which would be good. There’s a lovely large mirror.Room Is front of property and unfortunately faces the road which was very noisy.There’s parking at the rear and main reason for booking with the location close to the centre as well as good value.Close to a Wetherspoons for breakfast/meals. 15 min walk to main central shopping area. Bus stop outside.The Manager and staff were very friendly and helpful.Would recommend and stay here again.

Ideal place for an overnight stop near Cardiff City Centre.

Single en-suite room was excellent value. It was basic but exactly what I was looking for: clean, quiet, close to town but not noisy at all, safe and convenient. Thank you.

Great value had a back room which was great for no noise. Clean room with towels and shower gel. Only problem was the radiator would not turn off

The room was a wicked size, would definitely stay again, the reception lady when we arrived was nice. The walk to town was 10 minutes, wasn’t far at all. The only fault I could say was that on the last day (departure day) the 2 cleaners were very rude.

i have stayed at the Parklane many times whilst visiting family and have always found the facilities very comfortable will be back

Mainly very clean apart from the edges of the bathroom floor, welcoming staff. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk in your room. You need to bring your own hair dryer. Internet connection very good, better than Premier Inn! Bed very comfy. Breakfast, good, you need to pre -order the night before. We'd stay again.

Stayed here as we had an event in town. The hotelIs close to town. Lovely spacious room and very clean. Everything you need.

Clean, comfortable and only a short walk from the city centre. It’s perfect if you are going to be out all day and just need a place to sleep and shower. I would stay here again.

Enjoyed another 2 night stay at convenient, friendly Park Lane.

Comfortable room, good full English breakfast , with fruit juices , tea or coffee & toast. Good bus links to city centre.Bedroom needed a couple of minor tweaks , bed kept moving away from wall ( headboard fitted to wall )Bedside lamp had no socket to plug it in.Bathroom needed a towel rail near basin.

We were a couple and 2 young adults in 2 single rooms and a double.We received a warm welcome when we arrived.The breakfast was lovely and ladies were very nice and helpful.

Basic B & B ran by friendly ladies who are only too happy to help. Great location for exploring Cardiff. No need to use the car, free parking & only a 15 minute walk into town. Good value for money.

We were looking for a place to stay close to Pen-y-lan in Cardiff and we were on a budget. We found Park Lane quest house and it fitted our requirements. We were a little worried what it would be like with children but we needn't of worried. We were greeted by a very jolly friendly lady who gave us our key and explained about door closing time and breakfast. The room itself was spacious with good facilities. TV, tea/coffee and shower en-suite. It is true to say it's not luxurious but it is comfortable. The breakfast was served by an equally friendly lady who adapted to my kids fussy tastes. There was a good selection of cereals, toast and cooked breakfast. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a base to stay without frills. It did the job.

Comfortable room. Nice staff. All clean and tidy. Petty little things could have better, no milk in our room didn't realise till morning so didn't ask.

i don't normally do reviews but i just had to wright one for Parklane,some people get confused between a bed and breakfast and a Hotel theres a lot of difference between both,my self and my other collegues stay here once every other week for four nightstheres normaly 5 or six of us we normally have two twins and two singles all the rooms are nicely decorated we have free wi fia private secure car park and the gate is electrically operated which makes it securefor our work vans which is a must because of our tools ect !!!the price Kath charges is very reasonable as wedon't have breakfast because we are gone by 6-30 am and breakfast starts at 7am so Kathy arranges a sandwich and crisps to take away ideal for me and my work mates, we arrive back around 5 to a lovely and warm room bins have been emptied and beds madegreat prices great location lots of pubs and takeaways we all normally go to the weatherspoons for our evening meal just up the road from the guest house or KATH allows usto use the microwavemany thanks to the staff at Parklanesee you next weekGary and all the Gang!!!!!!!

We stayed here for a few nights in order to attend a family party in CYNCOED.our double room was actually a really good sized room, the ensuite shower room was clean and modern lovely staffan unexpected bonus the car park was free and secure great breakfast over all lovely clean cheap guest house.will highly recomend will be back.
